Motorcheckup
Evaluation process
After applying a drop of oil to a test paper, the chromatographic effect reveals a visual pattern with up to four distinct circles. This process allows for a detailed analysis of the oil's composition, helping to identify potential issues or irregularities in the engine's performance.
Perform & Compare results with the evaluation guide
Self-administer the test and compare it with our basic evaluation guide provided below.
Check if the evaluated report aligns closely with your own assessment.

Soot
Shows whether the oil has been contaminated by small particles - for example, exhaust particles, grime, dust, abrasions or other substances.

Oil Condition
Indicates the condition of the oil itself. Compare the colour of the oil in the chart.

Water/Coolant
If this appears, it indicates the presence of water or coolant leaked into the oil.

Fuel In Oil
Hold the test paper facing towards the light. The larger the transparent ring around the outside, the more fuel there is in the oil.
